As the Summer of 2015 approaches I am anticipating a wonderful two months in my booth – Number 93 – at the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts. This prestigious Festival has just been rated NUMBER FIVE in the country, among all art festivals, and it is an honor to have been selected by the jury to show my work this Summer!
There are other things that are going on too!
The picture, above, shows me at the opening of my display at the Forest and Ocean Gallery, in Laguna Beach, CA. There is one more wall, with Shadowed Space, Iao, Santorini on it. Ludo, the owner, curator, and notable platinum printer himself, did a great job putting the images together.
The Ritz-Carlton, Dana Point, has selected one of my pieces, Glass Building Peaks, for their gallery. All of the artists at the Festival of Arts were invited to submit work, and about 20 were chosen to hang one piece. This piece will be on display there from May through September.
Looking Glass Magazine, has included one of my pieces and some writing about Guanajuato, Mexico, in their latest edition. They will have a three-page spread in the next edition, covering my work in Iao, Santorini, Greece in 2003.
The Laguna Beach Art Magazine will be reviewing a body of my work in their upcoming edition. The series is Two Sand Beach – shown on this site in the “Studies” tab, and also there is a video about this amazing place. I have an ad in this magazine, as it goes to press in Orange County, to be distributed to 20,000 art enthusiasts!
